We respect your privacy. This policy explains what HomeCat collects when you use this site, and what we do with it.

When you create an account, we collect account information such as your name, email address, login credentials, and information provided by Google or Microsoft if you choose to sign in with one of those services. We use this information to create and secure your account, save your work, and provide the Service.

We also collect information you submit while using HomeCat, including property addresses, project descriptions, search queries, measurements, designs, uploaded files, photos or videos, product selections, contact details, and communications with us. We use this information to operate HomeCat, generate and deliver drawings and other project results, process requests, provide support, and improve the Service.

If you make a purchase, Stripe processes your payment and related billing and contact information. HomeCat receives transaction details such as payment status, purchase amount, and customer or transaction identifiers, but we do not receive your full payment card number.

We share information with service providers only as needed to operate HomeCat. These providers support functions such as authentication, payment processing, email, hosting and storage, maps, analytics, advertising measurement, and customer support. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect HomeCat, our users, or others. We do not sell your personal information.

We use analytics (PostHog and Microsoft Clarity) to understand which parts of the site are useful, and advertising tags (Google) to measure whether our ads are working. These tools may place cookies in your browser; you can block them with your browser settings or an ad blocker.
